Stray Kids arrived on the Korean music scene in March 2018 with something rare: a group that wrote, produced, and owned every corner of their sound from day one. Formed by JYP Entertainment and debuting on March 25, 2018, the eight-member group, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Seungmin, I.N, and Felix, quickly established that they were not simply performers interpreting material handed to them, but architects of a distinct sonic world entirely their own.

At the center of that architecture sits 3RACHA, the group's in-house production trio of Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN. Before Stray Kids ever debuted, the three were already crafting beats and lyrics in dorm rooms as trainees, with Bang Chan working under the handle CB97, Changbin operating as SpearB, and HAN going by J.One. That foundational creative partnership gave Stray Kids a unified creative identity that carries across their entire catalog, and it remains the beating engine behind every release they have put into the world.

The results speak plainly through the music. "MIROH," the lead single from their 2019 EP Clé 1: MIROH, announced the group's full arrival, bristling with momentum and the kind of collective confidence that comes from writing your own material. "God's Menu," released in June 2020, expanded that palette with a brash, genre-scrambling energy that became a calling card for the group's sound: dense production, interlocking rap and melody, and a willingness to push each song into unexpected territory.

The years that followed saw the group build one of the most consistent catalogs in K-pop. "MANIAC," the lead single from their 2022 EP Oddinary, was a thunderclap of a track. By the end of that same year, Stray Kids had become only the second K-pop group in history to cross three million album sales, a testament to the depth of connection they had built with their fanbase, known as STAY.

"Chk Chk Boom" from the 2024 EP ATE showed the group at their most self-assured, arriving alongside a music video that featured Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in their Marvel roles as Wolverine and Deadpool. It was the kind of cultural moment that confirmed Stray Kids' crossover reach, playful, bombastic, and entirely on their own terms. The accompanying world tour, dominATE, carried the group across Asia, Europe, and North America and further cemented the band's reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts working today.

In 2026, the group kept building. "RUN IT," a pre-release single ahead of their tenth Korean-language EP, This & That, dropped on June 24, 2026, and showed a group that has never stood still, always moving into the next chapter with the same creative hunger that defined their debut.

Stray Kids make music that sounds like a dare and a celebration in the same breath. Eight members, one unified vision, and a catalog that keeps getting richer with every release.
